Wyndham WA

Wyndham is the most Northerly town in western Australia situated on the Cambridge Gulf, 3216klm north east of Perth.
The Five Rivers Lookout is the highest point of the Bastion Range and offers an amazing view over the Gulf including Durack, Pentecost, King, Forrest and Ord Rivers.

Anthon’s landing  was used for loading cattle for export there is a fishing jetty as well,
The Big Croc was made by students and volunteers in 1987.
The biggest Boab in captivity with a circumference of 25m is at the Wyndham Caravan Park where we are staying its dog friendly, shady spots, a pool, bbqs Thers 4WD tracks, horse riding, swim at the Grotto a natural amphitheatre a waterfall feeds the deep pool I did not go in as Miss Elly was not allowed.
Theres a crocodile farm, old historical museum, pioneer cemeteries and some old trains. Quite a nice little town and a good stopover before tackling The Gibb River Rd.
